Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond is a duel card game in which you will need to use all your wit and strategic skills to win. The gameplay of Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond remains relatively similar to that of Magic: The Gathering or Hearthstone. The objective is to reduce the opponent's life points to zero by attacking him with the creatures in your hand or by unleashing spells that inflict direct damage. The problem, of course, is that the opponent will be trying to do the same to you. For this reason, the best strategy is usually to create synergies between the different cards in the deck. Only in this way can you gain a significant advantage over your opponent.

Singleplayer and PvP duels

Although for many players Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond is synonymous with PvP battles over the Internet, the truth is that the game also has a spectacular Story Mode. This new Story Mode is divided into seven different storylines, starring seven characters with their own personalities and special abilities: Dreizehn, Lovesign, Marie Malisse, Kaori Yuihara, Galan, Diawl and Esperanza. Each of these seven stories will also allow you to become familiar with one of the seven unique classes you can choose from in the game.

Super-evolutions, the big news

The most important new feature of Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond compared to the original Shadowverse is the super-evolutions. From the sixth turn of each battle, players will be able to use super evolution points to greatly improve their cards. Super-evolved cards will receive a +3/+3 bonus and will also remove all defeated enemies from the board. In short, super-evolution can become one of the central aspects of your strategy if you know how to make the most of it.
